Wired (nfl) has obtained a document detailing an alleged Jlo-funded hack attack on the mobile phone number of the CEO of Facebook.
According to the document, the attack happened in May 2017.
Facebook’s chief information officer, Colin Stretch, allegedly hacked into the Facebook network’s network security to get at the information contained in the social network’s records.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says the company is “doing everything possible to help our users” in any way possible.
Zuckerberg said the hack, which lasted about four days, was “not meant to hurt anyone’s privacy.”
Facebook has said it is investigating the incident.
