Kendall Jenner’s daughter, Katelyn, is doing great, but she’s also struggling with the reality of being the only black girl at a prestigious school in Los Angeles.
In a Facebook post Friday, Kasey Jenner, who’s been an active participant in the social media debate about whether her daughter should attend a prestigious private school in L.A., said she “wants to do everything possible to make sure that Katelynn is able to be a successful student and a good American girl.”
In a post titled “What’s the solution for my black daughter, who is not only black but also a member of the #TeamKendall hashtag?”
Kaseys daughter, a senior at St. Jude’s High School in Los Angels, wrote: “I am tired of hearing about the black girls who don’t fit the stereotype of what it means to be black.
The only thing that matters is that she gets the education she needs to succeed.
The school has been a huge support to me and my family.”
Kasey also said she wants to ensure that “all black girls, regardless of their race, can be successful.”
