By Emily Gresham, Associated PressAssociated PressWASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Clinton’s coronational tour is not a coronation, but the first in a lifetime, a spokeswoman said Tuesday.
The Clinton campaign, which launched an exploratory committee last week to seek the presidency, plans to use the tour to raise money for the campaign and for the Democratic National Committee.
Clinton is not expected to announce her candidacy until later this month, and her allies have expressed confidence that the first woman president will make a formal announcement in July.
The tour will begin Tuesday and run through August and will be a chance for supporters to meet the Democratic candidate.
The campaign did not say how much it will cost to attend.___Associated Press writer Josh Lederman contributed to this report.
